Hi all,
Sarah wrote, "In the last few weeks I have seen two babies with poor
sucking patterns.
I know that there are "advanced" suck training procedures but I don't
know exactly where and how to learn them."
At my hosp we are trying to find out who/what resources are available in
New Orleans area to refer moms/babies to who have possible suck
dysfunction, feeding disorder, tongue tie that is beyond our capabilities
to fix. So far have contacted OT, ST, school system early intervention
and I am still making phone calls etc. Any suggestions on other
disciplines to contact or any New Orleans area lactnetters can make a
recommmendation to me? Thanks.
