what about something called "EMLA"? (I have no idea what the generic name
is, sorry)
People who are having electrolysis treatments swear by this-it numbs the
area nicely(electrolysis can be quite painful although it is the only
reliable permanent hair removal system) and  1) can be obtained by
prescription only and 2)must be applied about an hour before treatment.
Are  any of our "drug mavens", dermatologists or doctors  familiar with
this product?
