I have a small replica of the shrine statue, and what I like about it is
that she is wearing a gown that has a slit for nursing, her foot is elevated
with a pillow and she has a crown on her head.  (I know that is what I wear
when I breastfeed).   I was looking through a book of Lourve museum art and
it was really fun to see all of the Mary nursing Jesus paintings (and he is
often shown as a toddler, not just an infant.
