Oh, so it's ok for the 2 adults to comfort one another but not the tiny
infant - no she needs to learn how to comfort herself. This is maturity?
Naturally it's the dog who follows his instincts and at least wants to
stay near the baby . . .
I knew I shouldn't have watched this episode. I saw Paul Reiser on some
talk shows right after his baby was born in which he raved about this
topic, and I just knew I'd somehow see it on the show one day. He went
on and on about how you have to parent according to the directions in the
book, I wondered at the time if he took 'a book' with him on his
honeymoon as well.
