I'm a little late but there were 3 letters published on Sunday. Our
Mardrey Swenson had the lead letter. Bravo! The next letter was a mom
who wanted to bf and had terrible employers (including a hospital!!) She
put the blame on the employers, not BF advocated. The final letter was
from Nikki Lee, a name I recognize, (are you on Lactnet?) and was also
pro-BF. Y'day the b'ness section had a med. size blurb on corporate
lactation programs that was very positive.

On the good press front, a local freebie parents' newspaper issues a baby
booklet once a year. This year's included a very good BF basics article
written by a woman who was very pro-BF on misc. kids a while back. She
wrote a day-to-day what to expect, and added a lot of "don't give ups."
She wrote about jaundice, avoiding supplements, not buying ABM in
advance, etc. It wasn't perfect, "lotions" probably act as placebos--no
mention of L----h, and states cold wet tea bags are good. But, as far as
a bf basics article, it was very good.
