I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else. Focus on Family--James
Dobson's new childcare book is now out. It's huge and expensive ($29.95
I think) and interestingly, is wrapped in plastic so you can't look at
it. I did, however, get the clerk to take the wrapping off for me. I
don't want to make too many judgments based on a quick look. Here's what
I did see:
1. said that most experts says you should wean by 12-15 months, but
others do not. Goes on, however, to only present negative issues on EBF.
(this part I did read thoroughly.)
2. is pro-infant BF, but like many books presents ABM feeding as a good
alternative.
3. tells people to see LCs if they are having problems (no mention of
LLL)
I did not have time to evaluate the breastfeeding information. I also
did not looking up co-sleeping issues, slings, etc. (all the things the
Ezzo's hate--BTW there were multiple copies of their book :-( ! )
