hi, any nutritionalists out there in lactnet land? anybody w/ any idea how
much fat a 12 month old requires on a daily basis (RDA?)? there's a mom in
our group whose pedictrician is giving her grief about not supplementing
w/ dairy (due to family allergies). baby is 5th %ile on growth charts for
weight, 10th for height and about 25 for head circ. ped isn't worried
enough to refer to dietatican just vocal enough to undermine mom's nursing
ablity. mom is offering often and nursing as long as baby wants, but you
know those busy babies- this one has been walking for 6 weeks and is
chasing an older brother. anybody have any suggestions or references on
high fat foods to offer or rather there is really a need to heed the dr?
thanks in advance, deborah danzeiser, LLLL missouri
