It is my experience that most hospitals in Mississippi are not prepared to
provide breastfeeding help.  those that do have a lactation consultant on
staff are unable to provide breastfeeding help  .... around the clock ....
every weekend ..... for intensive problems ..... once discharged, etc.
Letting people know that La Leche League is there and has been for years is
not, in my opnion, a bad idea.  I know that I wished I had known about them
25 years ago when my first was born.  I don't think  that we will ever not
need La Leche League.  Of course, I am prejudiced ... Camille Foretich
