> why would a woman wear a bra to sleep in?>

In the early postpartum (and sometimes late pre-natal) period, women with
larger breasts often find themselves much more comfortable if they wear a
bra even at night. If an average breast weighs 600 - 800 grams while
lactating, some of these women may be carrying around a couple of extra
kilograms!
I write from both personal and professional experience. When I first began
my work, I assumed that everybody slept in a nursing bra for at least the
first month or two... I was shocked when I worked with one small-breasted
woman who almost never wore a bra! I learned that my job is to evaluate
each woman according to her needs, offering suggestions for comfort and
success. Most large breasted women are really thankful to find a
comfortable nursing bra for nightime!
