Cathy -
WONDERFUL point! Wouldn't it be something, I thought, if the very laws
we've all pushed for had to be invoked to allow a bfing mom access to a
breastfeeding conference?
Then I pictured it being carried to its extreme: the mom who *refuses* to
remove her screaming child because she "has a legal right to be there".
But I realized that a screaming child is not a nursing child. The baby
who's nursing is by definition silent - except perhaps for gulps and
sputters and little humming sounds. So mom and conference committee both
win. Committee can still respectfully request that mom remove a screaming
child, but nursing moms can feel totally comfortable and supported.
