Querida,
My family had same concerns, as I am naturally small and thin.  Probably,
this will pass, though, because in a 9 mo old this is a high demand for
breastmilk phase.  Likely, the baby is pretty big and still growing, not
taking lots of table foods yet, but soon this will slow down a bit.  As
baby takes more table foods later on, likely demands for milk will
decrease.  Reassure family. Lots of moms find it hard to find time to eat
adequately anyway.  General tips about healthy snacking, keeping easy
foods around that she can grab. Tell her to maybe indulge in some
fattening foods  more in next few months, instead of eating so healthy.
Most likely, as in my case, once she gets past this high demand phase,
she will have to watch that she does not GAIN too much!
