I was searching Medscape today and came up with some interesting and useful
articles . Some of you already know about the "Infant Formulas Versus Breast
Milk" article from US Pharmacist found on Medscape. This article has a strong
'imitated but never duplicated message'. I think it is appropriate to have
patients read, not too full of jargon and not difficult to read.
If you follow the US Pharmacist link, you will find useful articles on "Infant
Colic:The Therapeutic Puzzle" and"Diaper Rash: The Bottom Line."
The pediatric link has a great summary of the new AAP bf recommendations from
Medical Tribune and a report from Pediatric News regarding the WHO revision of
growth charts for breastfeed infants.
Medscape can be found at http://www.medscape.com. You do have to register
initially and choose a password to be able to obtain the full-text articles.
