The pediatrician Catherine Buch also was quoted as saying re; the
one-year period:  "The main antibodies [from the mother] come early,"
she said.  "You can argue that a child is much less likely to have a
[bad]reaction to mother's milk than formula, but nothing I've seen in the
scientific literature supports this protacted need for breast-feeding."
