Hi All,
On the brain escape, yes the comments are humorous and I will not be
offended but once again having a baby is a Major Life Event and is
listed as such not because it's effect is minimal. We all know that the
combination of adjusting from woman to wife to mother is profound. To
add to that the physical differences to the body in the months of
pregnancy and after, well we as new mothers are really strong to even be
surviving. Then to add breastfeeding, possible employment, other
siblings and so on, it is a miracle we are alive, much less - faring
less than perfectly. Just MHO and .O2 worth on this.
OOPs I must remember to spell check and proof read my posts more
carefully. There were three little words I left out of the last one,
hope that the main point I was making came through.
I love the SIN - synthetic infant nutrition - fits the bill, but I
know that someone will be more than happy to point out that it is
another guilt producer we come up with. (Wonder how many guilt producers
the artificial milk manufactures spread without anyone making a public
uproar about it?)
My comment is today I was in our Army post Shoppette (imagine
convenience store) and saw the cover of Sports Illustrated Swim Suit
edition - two thoughts immediately came to mind. One was of course the
amount of skin the woman was displaying - no uproar yet about offending
anyone and my all time thought when this issue comes out - what does
this have to do with sports?!?
I have a question for the 1631 friends here. I have not breastfed in
7+ years, but just recently (yesterday) started having pain in both
breasts, and today also in the right nipple. My question is should I
wait for a few days or go in to have it checked? I am not sort of
worried on the one hand as we have two kittens and they have been using
me as a speed bump of sorts and also to nestle down in the afternoon by
kneading me, so at first I thought that was the cause of the pain, but I
must admit the nipple pain now has me bothered. I know that this is not
an actual breastfeeding question but it is breast related and I guess
I'm wimping out by using an anonymous source.
