Ilene, I saw your post and all I could think was "Geez are these guys ever
going to get it !?!?".
Surgery instead of NSAID's or a cortisone shot in the joint. Isn't that a
little drastict? Sorry I'm off my tirade now. Big inhale - exhale o.k.
All NSAID's ( non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications) are compatible
with bf. Usually MD's start out with something like 800 mg Motrin 3 x daily.
The cortisone injection is also compatible.
A little history is that I have severe arthritis - I have been on lots of
diferent NSAID's, had 2 surgery's and several cortisone shots while bf.
I've thoroughly researched this subject. Sooo - I would sugest she discuss
these procedures with her MD and/or get a second opinion.
