Ask the question: why would breastfeeding be contraindicated?
Parvovirus does not, as far as I remember, have a chronic carrier state.
The baby, to have developed a large liver and all, must have been
infected quite some time ago. Are again looking at "virus load"? I
don't go for it. I would imagine the mother is safe even if she had
parvovirus in her milk, which seems extremely unlikely.
Whenever someone suggests that breastfeeding is contraindicated, *they*
have to come up with the references to support their assertitions.
