Breastfeeding

While breastfeeding is a valuable experience for both mother and child,
it (like sleeping
in a cradle, wearing diapers, and sucking one's thumb) must end as a
child grows older.
While breastfeeding at older ages may not have any physical effects
on the child,
emotional and psychological effects can be devastating. If the child
actually remembers
being breastfed and craves it at an older age, he or she may develop
unhealthy incestual
urges. I am eager to discuss this matter further with you. Please
e-mail me to continue the discussion.

I (Lisa) would like to respond to him with some correct info, but have no
clue how to go about this. I am not one to usually take the lead and send
replies, but this man's wording seriously upset me! Maybe some of you can
help, and either send him a note, or tell me how I should go about giving
him some correct info!
Thank you very much, and I hope that this is appropriate to post on Lactnet!
