You wrote:  "Pediaticians now say babies should be breast-fed [sic] for
at least a year--rather than just 6 months.  Doing so should help them
fight ear infections, diarrhea and other infant ailments.  While that's
great for babies, it's tough on moms:  feeding takes 6 hours a day."

My rebuttal:  How long do you think it takes to prepare the bottles of
formula, feed them to the baby, and then wash the bottles and nipples?
This is not to mention the extra time shopping for the formula, going to
the doctor (I especially hate waiting in the "waiting room"), filling the
prescriptions, preparing and administering the medicines, caring for the
sick child.  Breastfeeding has saved alot of time for me.
