just tonight on the CBS evening news, which i don't generally watch, they had
a segment on how wonderful it is that a new vaccine is out to protect infants
from the deadly diarrhea connected with the rotavirus. not one word about
preventive measures, like breastfeeding, but photos of babies with bottles of
white stuff in their mouths and pacifiers. seeing this right after reading
about various formula recalls in this month's Mothering magazine really got me
steamed up. it seemed a lot like showing a murder victim, with the murder
weapon inadvertently included in the photos!
