ILCA went this route a few years ago, with Felicity Savage approaching the
publishers ofthe Oxford English Dictionary (if memory serves me correctly).
In any case, the interesting thing is that the dictionary will change when
they see that public usage/spelling changes.  Thus, WE have to change the
spelling of breastfeeding to breastfeeding and not to breast-feeding in common
usage before the dictionary will do it.  The Chicago Tribune spells it
breastfeeding.  Just a couple of years ago it was hypenated.  The AAP has
started using it as all one word too.  It won't be long!!!
