hi all
My cousin had triplets at 34 2/7 weeks last sat, all are well and she has
given up the idea of breastfeeding. They were born at Beth Isreal in
Boston with 17 people in attendance, Yet she was NEVER seen by the
Lactation Consultant even tho she stated that she intended to breastfeed.
Her High risk OB told her it was her decision and she had to be
comfortable.with it. So sad. I have urged her to reconsider now that
she is home and I would be thrilled to come down with my "bag of tricks"
to get these babies to breast. She kept saying she was worried about all
the time it would take. I told her in the long run it will save time- 24
bottles a day and more doctor visits! I'm not sure if she heard me or
not. She said she will call me tomorrow-let us all say a prayer to the
breastfeeding God!
