Dyazide is a rather mild diuretic. I would not be overly concerned about it
reducing the milk supply. Suggest the mom try using it and observing the
infant.
Most diuretics are most potent the first few days, and then seem to moderate
their effect later as the excess fluid is removed. By the way, diurectics
are most effective when used at bedtime. I know this is heresy, but the
body responds best at night due to reduced cortisol levels.
