Dear Lactnetters, I am having an ongoing problem that I would appreciate
feedback about. Many of my clients although instructed in, by
demonstration, wriiten and ussually audio-viduals, concerning double
pumping still choose to single side pump. They are unable to provide me
with a good reason other than double pumping is too hard. Occassionally
the reason given is that double pumping gives them too strong of
afterpains. Am I missing something. Many are late teenagers, but some are
educated thirties moms.
I keep saying that double pumping is quicker and will increase yield, but
even separated SCN moms have used the above reason. I'm discouraged and
stumped.
