Dear Chanita,, don't beat yourself up. We can only do the best we  can.  If
it was a perfect breastfeeding world, everything would work out right.  It
doesn't.  As health professionals we also have a dilemma; we have consider
the safety of the child as well as being supportive of breastfeeding.
Since our breastfeeding services are also usually segmented, it makes
things even harder.  I have a mantra " I did the best to the best of my
ability in this situation".
