 encourages women to use birth control during the first few months
 because breastfeeding doesn't prevent pregnancy. >>

Ain't it the TRUTH!  And how many times do you have a woman who wants to stop
breastfeeding so she can get pregnant again?  And these are the same women
AND physicians who refuse to believe that bf confers any type of birth
control.

Sigh.
