For the past two days, AGAIN, AOL messages have been bouncing like crazy,
AND private messages I have sent to people on AOL have bounced back to me
with a message about them being undeliverable or invalid address. This has
happened so many times (both problems) since JUne 1997 that I seriously
wonder about the capability of AOL to manage the huge numbers of people
they attempt to serve.

IF you are on AOL, kindly ask your HELP LINE when they are going to get to
the point where this is no longer happening every other day! I can't
imagine how frustrating this must be for you, not knowing if your messages
are getting through -- or having to resend them several times before they
do! -- as my frustration level has clearly climbed and I do not even use
their services!

For the rest of you NOT on AOL: please be patient if you have privately
emailed someone and you get their message back. Try approximately every 24
hours and (eventually, we hope) the message will get through. The other
person is NOT at fault: just their server system.... sigh
