When sending kudos to ER for the lovely scene with Carla nursing consider
commenting on the tobacco use they are showing...it started with the female
resident who moved to AZ (I can't remeber her name or if that is where she
moved) but now there is Dr Green lighting up and with the new ward clerk at
the end of last night's show.  For awhile part of my job was tobacco
education and control.  During that brief stint I came to realize how much
formula companies and tobacco companies have in common, and would bring it
up at tobacco meetings with mostly aknowledgement that they hadn't thought
of that before but agreed.  Might we someday see the same demands on
formula companies that we are seeing placed on tobacco companies?
As a last note, as a public health nurse I deal with head lice year around
and have followed the recent postings with interest.  If any one would be
interested in a copy of the compilation of methods to treat head lice on
the person and in the home I would be happy to snail mail a copy in
response to your private email request.  There are lots of suggestions
(like vinegar) that work very well if used in the right sequence based on
the treatment method.
