I agree with Kathy Dettwyler.  There are many people who would study for
years and spend thousands to get degrees that don't pay well.  In my
past life I was a university English instructor--the epitome of the
poorly paid job requiring a high level of education.  (I'm still paying
off the student loans)  And you know what, there were people waiting in
line to take my place when I left!

Many people are willing to work for years for education in a subject
they love and believe in, regardless of the income possibilities after
graduation.  And LACTNETTERS love their subject more than anyone I know!
