Jay, in telling about that most distressing Good Morning America "expert"
says:
>Of course, she says that by
>doing these things you will end up with a kid who is Not a juvinile
>delinquent.
Don't you wonder how many juvinile delinquents experienced co-sleeping with
their mothers and how many were "gentled" into family-acceptable behaviors?
Or how many were breastfed 'till 3 or 4 or 6?
There have been studies of repeat-offenders in prisons, and their early
stories were NOT about sleeping snuggled with their parents or being
taught, with compassion, the rules of our culture.
Anyone who grows up to not see others as a person worthy of his/her respect
is living what he/she was taught.
Isn't it amazing and dreadful that a television program that so many watch,
will allow such adversarial, anti-human recommendations. And isn't it
amazing and dreadful that parents will believe it without asking, at least,
the questions in my first paragraph.
I grieve for my fellow human beings.
