For what it's worth (probably not much and maybe all wrong), I am struck by
a vision of HOW Katie Couric may have breastfed, based entirely on
conjecture from different reports of her different interviews with persons
over the last year or so.
a) It is my understanding that she breastfed both her daughters.
b) However, I do not believe she took more than 6-8 weeks off after each of
them, and her comments suggest the following to me.
1. She "supports" breastfeeding, having done so herself.
2. She returned to work on the early side and possibly she stopped
exclusive breastfeeding at that time and/or quit sooner than she might have
preferred as a result of the ways she managed her baby's feeding needs
during her daily absences....
Speculations, as I said at the beginning..... or am I all wet??? (won't be
the first time)
