As the title lines says, this is totally off the subject of lactation. The other end, as it were. And TIA for your indulgence and support.
I need to know a little bit about hysterectomy -- whether in one's 50s, and still having one's period, one should still retain or also remove to leave the ovaries. The surgery is due to a prolonged duration of fibroid pain and problems, unresponsive to pain meds, and despite a six-month course of Lupron, which had no effect on periods or Lupron beyond the period of tx itself.
