Fiona,
I know it's a tough one when you turn to lactnet! It sounds like you've
covered the bases pretty thoroughly; I have one thought. Would you say
that this baby is exhibiting oral aversion? Does she have any *reason*
to be aversive, such as suctioning at birth? If not, it is still
possible that she has a condition predisposing her to oral
aversion/sensitivity. If you don't figure it out soon, perhaps an NDT
would be an excellent referral.
