There is a quote and I believe it is cited in the beginning of Jessica
Mitford's book on childbirth. It goes something like * a woman needs oats so
she won't dry up* I always thought of it in terms of skin, hair and vaginal
moistness though why not breastmilk as well?

I am thousands of miles from a copy of this book. Is there someone on the
list who can have a look in the book?

Sincerely,

Lisa Boisvert-Mackenzie, Midwife
