In the pediatric hospital we were using 10mg metoclopramide three times
a day (or 8 hrly) - but usually two doses are sufficient to make a
considerable difference - especially if the following formula is
followed (as advised by the gastroenterologists there) "take the night
off, leave your baby here with expressed milk, go out with your husband
and drink red wine - the finest you can afford - take a maxalon tablet
and get a good nights sleep and your milk will be plentiful in the
morning" - we often suggested the red wine before offering
medications....*G*
