Re the study that showed no difference in breastfeeding duration between
mothers receiving different types of hospital packs, I was wondering who
made the packs for breastfeeding mothers. From what I hear about certain
formula companies in the US, they put out packs with pumps, etc, but their
logo and literature are still there. If this was the case in the study,
then the conclusions are not very valid. Also, who funded the study?? It
would be more valuable to have a study compare hospital packs with formula
vs no packs at all, I would have thought.
