I thought the problem with the pilot's situation was that she was going
to have to leave her baby for over a month to be assigned in a remote
area.  She had already gone once to fight in Panama or something.  I
agree that the military accomodated her with flexible lunch times, etc.
I think the conflict came when the pilot received an overseas assignment
that her family would not be able to be with her.
