Hi all,
I received a call this morning from one of our Group moms who was
diagnosed with breast cancer in the right breast yesterday. I do not at
my finger tips have much information (medical type) to give to her. Not
only is she overwhelmed with this shocking news, she is being told she
must wean her 6 month old, that the surgeon wants to do a radical
mastectomy next week and then chemo in 4 to 6 months. She is in her late
30s/early 40s and this is their first/only child.
I have local contacts on the search, I checked the archives and
found some information, but whatever, someone here can give will be
appreciated.
I know for sure that if I were in such a situation, all the help and
support I could get would be greatly appreciated.
