Dear Kathy,
There is not much about C.lusitniae in F.C.Odds's book Candida and
Candidosis.
He says: "Most of the polyene-resistant Candida strains have so far
belonged to species other that C.albicans - notably C. tropicalis and C.
lusitaniae" (p287, 1988). This means that it may be resistant to nystatin -
but newer antifungals would probably be effective.
