I was truly amazed to see this on a recently purchased eye cream, this is
not a major popular commercial brand, but made by a specialty house in
NYC, very trendy.'Here's the ingredient list:
pause while I remove my eyeglasses to read the fine print!
"Water, polyglycerlmethacrylate, propylene glycol, squalane,glyceryl
stearate & PEG-100 Stearate, Cetyl acetate, acetylated lanolin alcohol,
myristyl alcohol, vegetable oil, retinyl palmitate (Vitamin A),
tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol,
imidazolidinyl urea, tocopherol (Vitamin E),propyl paraben, allantoin,
methyl paraben, ascorbyl palmitate (Vitamin C)."
whew, maybe *I* shouldn't be using this stuff!
Here's the caution:
Keep out of Eyes and immediate eye areas. (don't forget, this is an EYE
cream!)
If contact with eyes occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. Do Not
swallow, not intended for internal use. Keep out of Reach of Children.
Not intended for use on children. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Do Not Use DUring Pregnancy of While Lactating.

I have their 800 number if anyone is interested, please email me for it.
I intend to call them and find out what this is all about! It seems like
it's some standard warning that really doesn't mean much....
