The following article was in a newspaper today - does anyone know of the
research mentioned, or have a reference for it?

'Exposure to lead

Lead in mother's milk could lead to tooth decay in children, according
to researchers at Rochester University, New York. They found that rats
born to mothers who were exposed to lead in drinking water had 40 per
cent more cavities than those born to unexposed mothers. They recommend
that dentists treating children from communities with high lead levels
in the water should boost preventative treatment for tooth decay.'
