I would appreciate feedback on the use of nicotine patch (3 step) and
breastfeeding.  The lady says she will breastfeed for only 3 weeks and then
stop because she is going to use the patches.  The family doctor has told
her she cannot breastfeed and use the patch.  What is worse breastfeeding
and smoking or  breastfeeding and using the patch as far as exposure to the
newborn.  She presently smokes 1-1/2 packs a day and would like to stop.
