Hello everyone! I want to thank Fiona for posting those steps. My
wondering is why the author(s) would write *should attempt to* (Health
Professionals should attempt to...)? In past policy writing, I have been
under the impression that policies are to be writting in the definite, not
the maybe - ie., The mother will..., not The mother should... In its
current form the steps let those off the hook who choose to be. But.. it is
still a great step in the right direction!
I have a question to pose to all those with several years experience
practicing as an IBCLC. What subjects/areas would you like to see made
available to you now that you have some experience under your belt? I'm
interested in your top 3 choices.
I also want to pose a question to those who would like to become IBCLC but
have a long road ahead, particularly those not coming from a medical
background. What subjects/areas do you feel you most need right now to best
prepare for the exam & practice?
Thanks so much, in advance!
