A lactnet search should come back immediately, unless there was an
error.
        I had a client with hives that seemed to be bf related.  They resolved
on their own by the time the baby was 2 months old.  It helped her to
take a half dose of benadryl elixir before breastfeeding, on the theory
that it is easier to prevent histamine release than to stop it once it
starts.  She continued to breastfeed without incident.
