In a word, NO! You may want to ask THEM if there is any scientifically based,
double blind study that supports withholding breastfeeding from a baby
undergoing a procedure that is generally done with no anesthesia; or a local
at most.
Sheesh. What do they think? He's going to aspirate and inhale a pickle? And
if he does aspirate a smidge of breastmilk, so what? And how long do they
teach that breastmilk remains in the stomach anyway?
