Yes, Nathalie, Mom is being seen - she spent 2 1/2 hours with an IBCLC on
Mon and is going back tomorrow a.m.(poor LC must really be racking her
brains...) - Mom called me again tonight, situation is not getting any
better, in fact fussiness seems worse. The one thing I had not thought of
(I should have) was possibility of birth injury. The baby was born in 4
hours - v. fast for a 1st delivery. Could this have anything to do with it?
I hope the IBCLC picked up on that, I'll mention it to Mom 1st thing
tomorrow...
On subjecy of food allergies - would this really be apparent as a cause if
baby is only fussing right at latch on? She is NOT fussy, gassy, etc.
between feeds. It really seems as though the fussiness is connected with
the feeding experience, not the food.
Any other suggestions would be MOST appreciated.
