Dear Amy,
I have used New Skin, it IS like a skin glue type of thing, but also with a
very heavy spice scent to it(cloves I think) I use it for cracks on my
fingertips which get bad in colder weather, or the crease on the back of my
toes in summer. I find it very hard to imagine it being comfortable on a
cracked nipple-it stings like crazy when applied, it does seal over the cuts,
with a nail polish like film. It continues the smell for at least a day--I'm
surprised her babies would nurse, because of that alone. It hardens and peels
at the edges. I guess what I mean to say is that it doesn't seem it would be
very comfortable to mom or baby nursing!!
