I had a question in postpartum group this morning that I wanted your
collective wisdom about. One of the moms hasa friend going back to work
at the company she returns to in a few wekks. She has been told by
their mutual supervisor that she will be docked pay for the time she
nurses. The mom will be working a 30-32 hour week, approximately
5-6hours per day, and wonders if this is permissible.

Our group thought that since after 4 hours she is entitled to a break
docking pay would be inappropriate as long as she followed break times.
Does anyone have any good information about this issue to help these
moms out?

TIA

Sue
