The full moon must have hit, because the old internet virus stories are out
again!  NONE of these are true.  You can't get a virus from downloading
email (you can from a WWW page, if your browser allows Java or Activex
scripts to execute without warning you).  Here are some of the common
internet hoaxes to ignore:

>       - "GOOD TIMES" virus and other warnings about email viruses
>       - Craig Shergold (many different spellings) needing business
>         cards, post cards, etc., so he can break a record before he
>         dies of cancer [this is a biggie]
>       - the Neiman Marcus $250 Cookie Recipe Story
>       - LSD on cartoon stickers
>       - Pretty much everything you read about Richard Gere
>       -   "     "       "       "   "    "    Disney (Except being linked with
Nestle)
>       - Organ thievery (waking up without kidneys)
>       - Woman/peanut butter/dog/surprise party (I hear this one all
>         the time)
>       - Vacation/thief/toothbrush
>       - Wedding with photos of best-man and bride

Here's a sample of the "Mail-Bomb" hoax:

 >DO NOT WHATEVER YOU DO OPEN ANY MAIL FROM DRUMMR1001 OR HIGHMAGE00
 >THIS IS A SELF DOWNLOADING VIRUS AND WILL EAT YOUR HARD DRIVE AND GET YOUR
>AOL PASSWORD AND YOU CAN NOT CHANGE IT PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL...DELETE ALL
>MAIL FROM EITHER OF THESE PEOPLE BEFORE YOU READ IT!!!!

> SEND THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW ONLINE
