I've was taught that lecithin was a "fat chaser", which implies that it
does indeed help to clear out fat or fatty deposits.  For some mothers
with frequent plugged ducts, reducing the saturated fat in their diet can
help reduce the plugs. By adding lecithin to their diet, we are working
on the "other" side of the problem simultaneously.
