Mebendazole and postpartum lactation

Plasma levels were 20 ng/ml, and milk levels were undetectable, in
agreement with other reports. Therefore the oral dose to the baby is of
the order of 1 ng/ml, and the baby has a similarly low GI absorption.
Recommendations to withhold breastfeeding are therefore questionable
considering the exposure level.
